Board Game
Game Objective:
- The goal of the game is to capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them from making any legal moves.
- Players take turns moving their pieces diagonally across the board, attempting to capture the opponent's pieces by jumping over them.
- The game ends when one player has no more pieces left or cannot make a legal move.
How to Play:
- Start the Game: The game begins with 12 pieces for each player (Red and Black) positioned on the board's dark squares.
- Turn-Based Play: Players alternate turns, moving one piece per turn.
- Moving Pieces: Pieces move diagonally to an adjacent empty square.
- Capturing Opponent's Pieces: If an opponent's piece is adjacent and there is an empty square beyond it, your piece can jump over and capture the opponent's piece. Multiple jumps are possible in a single turn if the conditions are met.
- Becoming a King: If a piece reaches the opposite side of the board, it becomes a king and gains the ability to move both forward and backward diagonally.
Game Features:
- Dynamic Highlighting: Movable pieces are highlighted in green, showing players their potential moves.
- Turn-Based Mechanics: The game alternates between Red and Black players, with clear visual indicators for whose turn it is.
- King Pieces: Pieces that become kings are marked visually and have expanded movement options.
- Win Conditions: The game tracks scores and announces the winner once all of the opponent's pieces are captured or blocked.
Tips for Success:
- Plan your moves ahead to set up multiple jumps and gain an advantage.
- Protect your pieces by avoiding leaving them vulnerable to easy captures.
- Try to advance your pieces to the opponent’s side to crown them as kings for greater flexibility.
- Focus on controlling the center of the board to maximize your movement options.
